Mercury is the second design by new watch brand Ziiiro of Hong Kong.

Like their first design, called Gravity, the Mercury watch has no typical hands or markings, instead using two rings that resemble rotating comets to indicate the time. The tip of the inner swirl points to the hour, while the outer swirl indicates the minutes.
Mercury has a 24mm-wide stainless steel mesh bracelet and fixed steel case, whereas Gravity has a plastic wrist band and interchangeable faces.
The design is currently available in chrome/magenta, chrome/ocean, black/magenta, black/ocean.

Ion is the first of the Ziiiro watches to use an archetypal time-telling movement. The face features two classic hands on a brushed stainless steel face – stark simplicity in comparison to the earlier Celeste, Gravity and Aurora models that use colour and rotating disks to tell the time.
The minimal watch is compatible with the removable faces and interchangeable straps of the rest of the Ziiiro collection. Ion itself comes with a plastic bracelet strap in black, white or clear, similar to the strap of the new Proton design.
